Ventura Spirits Strawberry Thief Liqueur is a fruit-forward spirit crafted in California by Ventura Spirits. It is made by blending the distillery's signature strawberry wine-distilled brandy with fresh California strawberry juice and organic cane sugar, before letting the mixture rest in neutral French oak barrels. It differs from their dry, eighty-proof strawberry brandy by incorporating fresh juice back into the distilled spirit to build a sweeter and more luscious flavor profile.
The resulting liqueur is highly aromatic and captures the pure essence of fresh, juicy strawberries. Because of its balance of sweetness and vibrant fruit notes, it is a versatile addition to any home bar. It serves as an excellent modifier to soften strong spirits like bourbon or cognac, acts as a lively substitute for sweet vermouth, and pairs beautifully topped with sparkling wine or drizzled directly over desserts.
