When Hurricane Gilbert nearly destroyed the Jamaican legend that was Macanudo, many thought the prestigious brand would never recover. Not to be denied, Macanudo lives on thanks to the shifting of production to the Dominican Republic after Gilbert’s landfall. Smoother and tastier than ever, the Macanudo Café Duke of Devon is the premiere choice for those wanting a purely mellow and satisfying smoke.
The Macanudo Café Duke of Devon is a finely crafted 5 ½” x 42 stick that is draped with a golden Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf. A unique blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican filler tobaccos are tucked into a binder leaf from San Andreas, Mexico to complete the beautifully smooth smoke of about 40 minutes or so.
Once the Macanudo Café Duke of Devon is under way, lush earth and wood flavors ease onto the palate, massaging the taste-buds as splashes of spice, toast and herbs enter the sensuous mix. The mild character of the silky smoke transports an amazing amount of taste as each puff draws nearer a clean and satisfying finish.
Impeccable blended for optimal balance and pleasure, the Macanudo Café Duke of Devon is a mild-loving connoisseur’s ultimate smoke and will prove an absolute must for the casual enthusiast. Whether relaxing at home or out on the town, the Macanudo Café Duke of Devon is as good as it gets!
