Bottled at cask strength, 57% ABV, "Mandamus" arrives as the 29th mark in Foursquare's Exceptional Cask Selection, the Barbadian distillery's top tier of cask-chosen releases. The 750 ml bottle carries the weight that the series' numbering suggests: an exclusive line built around specific cask picks rather than a standing house expression.
The palate leans into deep molasses, with oak tannins framing layers of spice and dark fruit. Undiluted strength pushes all of it forward, closing on a warm finish suited to drinkers who want their rum with full intensity intact.
