The Macallan Concept Number 3 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the final release in The Macallan's innovative Concept Series, which fuses the artistry of whisky making with creative cultural expressions. This limited-edition single malt is a collaboration with renowned graphic designer David Carson, known for his revolutionary approach to contemporary design. Inspired by Carson's time spent at The Macallan Estate alongside Whisky Maker Polly Logan, Concept Number 3 embodies a harmonious blend of whisky craftsmanship and visual artistry. Bottled at 40.8% ABV, this expression offers a rich sensory experience, with a color reminiscent of "California Gold," paying homage to Carson's roots. The whisky is crafted from a combination of first-fill sherry butts, ex-bourbon barrels, and virgin American oak casks, resulting in a balanced profile of sweetness, spice, and fresh fruit notes. Originally released as a travel retail exclusive, Concept Number 3 is a testament to The Macallan's commitment to innovation and collaboration.
