Pussers Gunpowder Proof Rum is a bold and robust expression. Paying homage to the rich naval traditions and historic legacy of the British Royal Navy. Crafted with precision and authenticity. A tribute to the sailors who once received a daily tot of rum as part of their rations.
- On the nose, expect a symphony of rich molasses, toffee, and hints of tropical fruit. Creating an inviting and complex aroma
- The palate is a bold adventure with flavours of dark chocolate, oak, and a distinct spiciness that adds depth to each sip
- The finish is long-lasting, leaving a warm and satisfying sensation that lingers on the palate
At an impressive 54.5% alcohol by volume. This Navy rum packs a punch with a strength that harks back to the days when sailors would test the proof of their rum by mixing it with gunpowder and igniting the mixture.
