WWS 10 Year Couture Collection Finished in Madeira and Sherry Cask is a whiskey dressed for the occasion. Part of WWS's premium Couture Collection — a line defined by exceptional cask finishing and refined presentation — this 750ml expression takes a decade of American oak aging and elevates it through a dual finishing process in both Madeira and Sherry casks, creating a layered complexity that is genuinely distinctive.
Madeira brings a bright, oxidative richness — dried fruit, toasted nuts, and a subtle honeyed acidity. Sherry adds depth and warmth — dark fruit, chocolate, and a velvety sweetness. Together, they transform this 10-year whiskey into something that rewards every sip with a new discovery.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Dried fig, golden raisin, toasted almond, orange zest, and warm caramel with a floral, honeyed lift from the Madeira influence
- Palate: Elegantly layered — dark cherry, candied orange peel, roasted walnut, toffee, and a rich Sherry sweetness woven through a firm 10-year oak backbone
- Finish: Long and refined, with lingering dried fruit, dark chocolate, vanilla, and a gentle spiced warmth
