In the middle of California wine country, two mountain ranges that run the spine of the state come together to create unique vineyard conditions. The soils are perfect for getting robust grapes, and winemakers labor over the land to produce excellent wines that are full of the best flavors. The Whipstitch 2016 Chenin Blanc brings together know-how and location to produce a wine that can only be made in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. With notes of lychee, honey, and pear the Chenin Blanc is a crisp white wine that is both elevated and accessible. Try drinking it on a warm summer day when you are in need of a refreshment. Judges at the 2017 Sommeliers Challenge agree, and awarded it with 91 points and a gold medal!
