Privada Storytelling
The W.A. Field Scout is the seventh entry in our Wes Anderson-inspired series and perhaps its crown jewel. Drawing on the whimsical, nostalgic spirit of Moonrise Kingdom, this cigar captures the adventurous essence of a youthful scout exploring uncharted territory. Aged for over a year and a half, the Field Scout is proof of what’s possible when passion, imagination, and AJ Fernandez’s mastery collide.
What once seemed impossible—having AJ helm a dedicated Privada project—has now become reality. The Field Scout isn’t just another cigar in the W.A. series; it’s a declaration of how far Privada has come. This is edutainment in its purest form: a cigar as a story, a story as a cigar.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Bursts of apricot, citrus, cedar, and cinnamon awaken the senses, with cocoa powder weaving in and out. A soda-like nuance recalls the warmth of Mexican hot chocolate. The retrohale introduces creamy spice and red pepper, bright and invigorating.
-
Second Third: A tapestry unfolds—apricot, chocolate, cherry cola, cedar, and cream, accented by sea salt and cocoa butter. Honey and roasted nuts enrich the midsection, while black pepper sharpens the finish.
-
Final Third: The experience crescendos with roasted nuts, cocoa butter, apricot, red pepper, and cedar. Sweet honey and cream balance the spice, delivering a bold, bright finale that lingers with sophistication.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The W.A. Field Scout embodies Privada’s mission: storytelling through tobacco. It honors Wes Anderson’s artistry, reflects AJ Fernandez’s genius, and demonstrates how creative vision can transform the cigar world. This cigar is both whimsical and serious, nostalgic and modern—a perfect encapsulation of the Privada ethos. For collectors, dreamers, and lovers of flavor, the Field Scout is a must.
