Italy’s Toscano brand has a long history that dates back to the early 1800s. Toscano cigars have been a go-to choice for those searching for a boldly unique and wildly entertaining smoking experience throughout the years. None of Toscano’s offerings reach as far back to capture the character of the original Toscano cigars quite like the Toscano Antico.
The Antico or “ancient” blend is comprised of rich Italian filler tobaccos from Tuscany and Veneto, as well as US-grown tobaccos from Kentucky and Tennessee. The lengthy fermentation and aging process of these tobaccos further adds to the blend’s intense flavor. The finishing touch is a rustic Kentucky wrapper leaf fire-cured over hickory and oak for over 30 days.
As with many of Toscano’s other offerings, the Antico is a 6” x 38 Cheroot-style cigar that can be smoked as is or cut in two, a traditional method for greater value and convenience. The fired-cured nature of the tobaccos helps deliver a thick and smoky flavor balanced out by notes of wood, spice, and dried fruit.
The award-winning Toscano Antico was created as an ode to the original cigars created at the behest of Ferdinand III, Grand Duke of Tuscany. Rich, tasty and undeniably nostalgic, these smokes liven up any moment. So kickstart your tastebuds and enjoy Toscano Antico cigars with Italian brandy for a one-of-a-kind experience.
