Pete Johnson’s Tatuaje is a brand well-known for expertly crafted smokes that are at once rich, complex and silky smooth. Perhaps there is no better example of Johnson’s commitment to quality than the Tatuaje Havana VI Artistas. With plush flavors and exquisite character, the Havana VI Artistas just might be the ideal all-around cigar.
The sensuous Havana VI Artistas is a stunning 6 1/8” x 52 Torpedo-shaped stick that is draped by a rich Habano Ecuador wrapper leaf and Tatuaje’s trademark Cuban-style triple cap. The binder and filler tobaccos are harvested from the finest Nicaraguan tobaccos to complete the gloriously constructed stick, which is made by Jaime Garcia at the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua.
The tasty Artistas starts off with a medium-ranged smoke laced with earth, pepper and spice flavors. Supple coffee-tinged nuances tease as the smoke makes a smooth transition from medium to fuller in body. Traces of leather and toast make brief appearances during an energetic grand finale.
Beautifully blended, shaped and balanced, the Tatuaje Havana VI Artistas is a true connoisseur’s smoke that should find a welcome spot in anyone’s rotation. With the added bonus of being remarkably affordable for a cigar of this type, the Havana VI Artistas is just too good to pass up!
