Strongwater Old Fashioned Mix Sampler is a set of four award-winning, travel-size cocktail syrups that transform whiskey or bourbon into bar-quality Old Fashioneds—four 1-oz bottles make 16 cocktails.
Designed and handcrafted in the Colorado Rockies, this sampler brings together Classic, Maple Pecan, Espresso and Smoked Old Fashioned syrups made from organic cherries, orange peel and warm spices. Each small-batch syrup is free from artificial flavors and sweeteners, delivering concentrated flavor that stretches farther than simple syrup or bitters alone. The compact 1-oz bottles are ideal for gifting, travel, or exploring new cocktail profiles without committing to full-size bottles.
What flavors are included and how do they differ?
The sampler contains four distinct Old Fashioned syrups—Classic for balanced citrus-cherry notes, Maple Pecan for rounded sweetness and toasted nut character, Espresso for bold roasted depth, and Smoked for savory, campfire-like complexity. Each flavor is crafted to complement whiskey or bourbon while remaining versatile enough for rum, mezcal, or zero-proof drinks.
- Classic: orange peel and organic cherry for traditional Old Fashioned balance
- Maple Pecan: natural maple and pecan notes for warming sweetness
- Espresso: concentrated coffee roast to add bitterness and depth
- Smoked: wood-smoke aromatics for savory, earthy finish
How do I use these syrups to make an Old Fashioned?
Making an Old Fashioned with Strongwater syrups is quick and precise—pour 1 oz of syrup per drink, add 2 oz of your chosen spirit, stir with ice, and garnish. The concentrated syrups remove guesswork about bitters and sugar, giving consistent results for home bartenders and guests.
- Ratio: 1 oz syrup to 2 oz whiskey or bourbon over ice
- Mixing: stir until chilled, then strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
- Garnish suggestions: orange twist, brandied cherry, or toasted pecan depending on flavor
- Mocktail option: use with soda water or nonalcoholic spirit for zero-proof cocktails
How many drinks does the 4-pack make and is it travel-friendly?
Each 1-oz bottle yields approximately four Old Fashioneds, so the 4-pack produces around 16 cocktails—handy for weekend gatherings or multi-flavor tasting sessions. Bottles meet most airline liquid rules for carry-on convenience and are sized to tuck into luggage, gifting boxes, or cocktail kits.
- Yield: 4 drinks per 1-oz bottle, 16 drinks total in the pack
- Portability: compact 1-oz bottles suitable for travel or tasting sets
- Gifting: attractive presentation and award-winning labels make it gift-ready
- Storage: store in a cool, dark place; refrigerate after opening for best freshness
Are these syrups natural and suitable for different diets?
Strongwater syrups emphasize real ingredients like organic cherries, citrus peel and spices, and they are made without artificial flavors or sweeteners. While not a medical product, the formulation supports clean-label preferences and works well in both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
