Washington State is an incredibly unique location within the US. Thanks to the influence from the Pacific Ocean and the deep valleys within the growing regions, the state has both cool and warm climate sites, making it ideal for all sorts of grape growing. This Syrah is from a cool-climate location and is full of texture. Cooler locations tend to produce Syrah that has bold concentrated flavors and depth. Fruit used for this wine saw whole cluster fermentation which created a balance in the intensity of the fruit and the tannins. Full-bodied, fruit-forward, and deep in color, this wine is savory and features gorgeous rich flavors without being too much. Perfect for pairing with grilled meats and vegetables or with a salty bold cheese.
