A local Bay Area favorite, St George Spirits has been releasing batched single malt lots for over a quarter century. Single Malt Lot 26 displays the craftsmanship, creativity, and memorable drinking experience that we have come to expect with each Lot. Distilled from a mash of 100% malted barley including roasted barley and unroasted, beech and alder wood smoked barley. For lot 26, 25 different casks* were blended before bottling at 86 proof. The nose offers scents of brown butter, cocoa, marzipan, woodsmoke, and ripe plum. The palate offers wide ranging flavors of buttery pastry, marmalade, dark chocolate, toasted sesame, and cedar.
*Casks ranged in age from 5-11.5 years and included ex-bourbon, STR French Oak, ex-apple brandy, and ex-California white desert wine
