Sông Cái Spiced Roselle Flavored Gin is a distinctly handcrafted Vietnamese gin inspired by traditional highland fruit liqueurs, combining local botanicals, roselle buds, and rose myrtle berries (Sim fruit) macerated for over a year to deliver a unique ruby-hued balance of spice, tannic fruit, and subtle acidity.
Food Pairing: Charcuterie boards, roasted duck, grilled pork, dark chocolate desserts, or tangy sheep's milk cheeses.
Tasting Notes : Rich deep ruby-amber in appearance with a full-bodied, velvety, and slightly tannic mouthfeel.
Nose : Aromatic cinnamon, dried blood plum, dark cherry compote, subtle star anise, cracked pepper, and fresh ginger.
Palate : Complex and rich with layers of dried cherry, tart rhubarb, pickled plum, candied ginger, licorice, and woodsy highland spices.
Finish : Long, smooth, and refreshing with lingering tannic berry dryness, herbal spice, and a subtle minty note.
Serve : Serve chilled neat, over ice with soda or ginger beer, or as an alternative base in cocktails like a Sloe Gin Fizz or Gin Rickey.
