About the Product
This collaboration between The Bitter Housewife and Rogue Distillery is all about dark, bitter flavors and a carefully crafted product that really shows off the strength of each ingredient.
Building on the chocolate and coffee notes of Rogue’s Dead Guy Whiskey (used as the base), these rich, layered bitters feature roasted chicory and cocoa nibs for a truly indulgent addition to any whiskey-based cocktail. Chocolate Manhattan, anyone? Yes, please!
With their ability to heighten certain flavors while softening others, bitters are the spice rack of cocktail making. They have the power to bring otherwise disparate flavors into harmony. Use them generously in cocktails or in place of extracts like vanilla in baking. Wherever you want flavor without added sweetness, bitters are your friend.
About the Maker
The Bitter Housewife was created to inspire people to make their own choices, starting with what they drink. The best drinks are made with real ingredients, exactly how you like them, regardless of the rules. Cocktails shouldn't be intimidating or require a new vocabulary to talk about them. All that matters is great taste, real ingredients, and fun!
