The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Broadleaf Petit Corona is a medium-bodied, 4.5×44 cigar wrapped in a 12-year-aged Honduran Broadleaf and rolled with a Nicaraguan binder and Dominican–Nicaraguan fillers. This iconic blend marked the first line to officially carry the Rocky Patel name, establishing the Vintage Series as a modern classic.
Widely acclaimed, the Vintage 1990 has earned a 92-point rating from Cigar Aficionado and appeared twice on the Top 25 Cigars of the Year list. Smooth, refined, and elegantly balanced, it remains one of the brand's most celebrated achievements.
Handmade at the El Paraiso factory in Danlí, Honduras, the cigar benefits from one of the industry's most meticulous production facilities, known for quality consistency and expert craftsmanship.
Expect a flavorful profile with notes of coconut, cocoa, espresso, caramel, nuts, milk chocolate, and soft spice, making it ideal for a short, relaxing smoke. Perfect for enthusiasts who enjoy aged tobaccos, silky balance, and classic Rocky Patel craftsmanship.
The Vintage 1990 established Rocky Patel as a serious force in the premium cigar market — earning a 92-point rating from Cigar Aficionado and appearing twice on their Top 25 Cigars of the Year list is a level of critical recognition that most brands never achieve once, let alone twice. The 12-year-aged Honduran Broadleaf wrapper is the defining component: over more than a decade of careful aging, the leaf develops a natural sweetness and smoothness that freshly-processed broadleaf cannot possess. El Paraiso factory in Danlí, Honduras maintains one of the industry's most consistent production standards, which is why the Vintage 1990 has been able to sustain its quality across decades of continuous production. Available in the Petit Corona format — a quick, satisfying smoke at 4.5 x 44 that delivers the full Vintage 1990 profile in a compact and efficient package.
