Sourcing an exclusive barrel of Remus Gatsby Reserve completely shatters typical industry norms. The Prime Barrel relentlessly pursued this incredibly rare Indiana liquid. We unearthed an absolute masterpiece. Maturing for seventeen brutal Midwestern summers profoundly mutates the underlying grain architecture, forcing the volatile spirit deep into the heavily charred white oak staves. This uncut expression commands unwavering respect.
Seventeen years inside wood routinely destroys lesser whiskeys. This resilient barrel aggressively fought back against the oppressive tannins. The staggering evaporation concentrated the natural sugars, forging a heavy, syrupy viscosity that beautifully coats your eager palate without relying on any artificial sweetness. It drinks with phenomenal, unabashed intensity. You're tasting a profoundly finite snapshot of Ross and Squibb distillation alchemy that simply cannot be replicated today.
Dedicated collectors ruthlessly hunt these heavily allocated art-deco bottles. The gorgeous presentation flawlessly matches the elite liquid resting inside. Snagging an uncut, 118.2-proof vintage Indiana bourbon balancing bright candied fruit with deeply resinous antique leather feels like discovering a genuinely priceless museum artifact.
