Embrace the bold spirit of California’s redwood coast with Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye Whiskey. Crafted by Redwood Empire Distilling in Graton, Sonoma County, this 90-proof (45% ABV) rye, named after the fastest-growing redwood tree in Redwood National Park, blends house-distilled and MGP-sourced rye whiskey. With a mashbill of 92% rye, 5% malted barley, and 3% wheat, it’s aged 4 to 7 years in new charred oak barrels in the temperate Northern California fog belt, ensuring a smooth, spicy profile. Non-chill filtered, it delivers vibrant complexity, earning accolades like 97 points from Tasting Panel Magazine (2019) and Double Gold at the Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards (2019). For every bottle sold, a tree is planted through their Trees for the Future partnership, reflecting their sustainability ethos. Sip it neat to savor its rye spice, on the rocks for a softer touch, or in a Manhattan for a peppery kick.
