Ludlow Rhubarb & Apple Gin
Ludlow Distillery is based in Shropshire and was founded in 2018 by master distiller Shaun Ward. It is known for crafting premium spirits using traditional copper-pot distillation and natural ingredients. The distillery sits in the Welsh Marches and is part of Ludlow’s vibrant food scene.
Ludlow Rhubarb & Apple Gin begins with their award-winning dry gin, distilled using juniper, coriander, angelica and orris. Natural rhubarb and apple juices are added post-distillation, with no artificial flavourings. The result is a smooth, fruit-led gin made in small batches.
- Ludlow Rhubarb & Apple Gin opens with tart rhubarb, crisp apple and subtle citrus peel.
- The palate shows ripe apple sweetness balanced by rhubarb’s tang and classic juniper spice.
- Finishes clean and refreshing with lingering fruit and soft botanical warmth.
Pairs well with pork, chicken and vegetarian dishes.
