This whiskey is as bold as the stories it tells. Raconteur Rye “Prime Barrel: Bardstown Muse” is an exclusive micro batch selection created with David Jennings, Woodwork Collective, and The Prime Barrel for those who appreciate nuance, complexity, and craftsmanship.
This 8-year-old Indiana rye was already exceptional—rich with spice, depth, and intensity—but we didn’t stop there. Finished in Mizunara and toasted oak barrels, it mirrors the signature character of the beloved “Brazen” release. Then, in an unexpected twist, it was rested in a Kentucky rye barrel, absorbing the essence of Bardstown’s finest traditions.
What Makes It Special?
✔ Triple-barrel complexity—Indiana rye, Mizunara finish, Kentucky rye aging.
✔ Unmistakable Bluegrass character, refined with oak-driven finesse.
✔ One-of-a-kind single barrels—when they’re gone, they’re gone.
