Crank the volume—Ardbeg Ardcore Committee Release 2022 isn’t here to whisper. Crafted for the Ardbeg Committee and unleashed on Ardbeg Day (Fèis Ìle), this cask-strength single malt smolders at 50.1% ABV and dares to push boundaries with 25% intensely roasted black malt—the distillery’s first‑ever use of it .
It’s smoky, savory, and unapologetically punk—Ardbeg describes it as tasting “like biting on a spiky ball,” and they’re not kidding .
Expect an in-your-face dram with fierce peat, fiery malt, and complex layers strategically unleashed. It doesn’t hide—Ardcore demands to be experienced.
