Plantamura Primitivo Black Label is a bold and elegant red wine from the Gioia del Colle region in Puglia, Italy. Produced entirely from organically farmed Primitivo grapes grown in calcareous clay soils on elevated terrain, the wine benefits from cool night breezes, retaining essential acidity. Traditional winemaking techniques involve hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, and aging in stainless steel tanks without oak, highlighting the pure, intense fruit character. This approach emphasizes the authentic, mineral-driven expression of the terroir, resulting in a wine that perfectly balances power and freshness, distinctively setting it apart from typical southern Italian styles.
