Riot Squad's Pink Lemon Lime from their Riot X range isn't your typical citrus vape - it's got this interesting raspberry base that stops it being too sharp. The lemon hits first, then you get the lime tartness, but that berry sweetness keeps everything balanced.
What makes this one stand out is the hybrid nicotine formula. It's smoother than regular freebase but absorbs quicker than standard salts, which is handy if you're coming off cigarettes. Available in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg strengths in proper 10ml bottles.
The 50VG/50PG ratio works well in most pod kits without being too thick. I've found it doesn't gunk up coils as quickly as some of the sweeter flavours, though you'll still need to change them regularly. The throat hit is surprisingly gentle even at 20mg - no harsh scratching that puts you off.
Here's the thing though - the raspberry element can be a bit inconsistent between batches. Sometimes it's more prominent, other times the citrus dominates completely. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning.
Riot Squad make this in the UK, so quality control is generally solid. The flavour profile reminds me a bit of those pink lemonade drinks but with more complexity. It's refreshing enough for summer but not so light that it gets boring.
If you're after something that's citrusy without being one-dimensional, this Pink Lemon Lime delivers. Just don't expect it to taste identical every single time - that's the only real downside I've noticed with this particular blend.
