Which Padron is right for you? Padron 1964 vs 1926 cigar faceoff.
The Padron 1926 Series Maduro is one of the most prestigious full-bodied cigars ever created, crafted to celebrate José Orlando Padron’s 75th birthday. Presented with a dark, toothy Nicaraguan maduro wrapper and filled with aged Nicaraguan tobaccos, this blend delivers unmistakable depth, balance, and character.
Every leaf in the 1926 Maduro receives five years of aging, producing the dense, silky, and ultra-refined flavor profile that has defined the series for more than two decades. The smoke reveals a luxurious progression of cocoa, espresso, cedar, oak, anise, and subtle pepper, weaving together sweetness and spice with the signature box-pressed Padron format.
With dozens of 90+ ratings, the 1926 Maduro remains a masterpiece of Nicaraguan cigar craftsmanship. A recent 93-point rating praised its “abundance of cocoa powder accented by leather, herbs, wood, and a licorice finish.”
Whether saved for a milestone moment or enjoyed as a well-earned indulgence, the Padron 1926 Series Maduro offers a celebratory experience that stands among the finest cigars ever produced.
Expertly made at the Padron factory in Nicaragua, the 1926 Maduro showcases the artistry, patience, and precision that have made Padron one of the most respected names in the world of premium cigars.
