Privada Storytelling
The cigar industry is littered with forgotten dreams — brands that launched with promise, only to disappear, leaving their cigars to slumber in warehouses across the world. Dead Stock is Privada’s answer to this phenomenon, bringing these hidden treasures back into the light. Unlike vague “aged” claims, Dead Stock means documented provenance, real tobacco history, and cigars that time itself has transformed.
The OG Dead Stock release is one of the most remarkable finds yet. During a routine visit to a factory in Estelí, Privada stumbled upon a forgotten batch of 7×47 Churchills, perfectly preserved and aged undisturbed for more than a decade. Originally destined for a European luxury brand that never launched, these cigars embody exclusivity, rarity, and authenticity — qualities that align perfectly with Privada’s mission.
Flavor Journey
At first light, notes of golden hay and cedar greet the palate with elegance. As the Churchill progresses, layers of dried fruit and roasted nuts emerge, balanced by leather and cocoa. Midway, the flavors mellow into a refined sweetness, accented by hints of spice. The final third is a long, creamy, and nuanced finish — the kind of complexity only genuine aging can deliver.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada exists to discover what the rest of the cigar world forgets, and OG Dead Stock is a shining example. A true Churchill, aged more than six years (and closer to a decade), with a documented backstory that ensures authenticity. This is what collectors crave and what casual smokers may never have known existed: real aged cigars, pulled from obscurity and offered exclusively to Privada members.
