Produced by the legendary Ornellaia estate in Bolgheri, Tuscany, Ornellaia Bianco is one of Italy’s most sought-after white wines. First released in 2013, it is crafted primarily from Sauvignon Blanc grown in carefully selected coastal vineyards influenced by the Tyrrhenian Sea. Produced in extremely limited quantities, Ornellaia Bianco reflects the same dedication to precision, elegance, and terroir that has made Ornellaia one of the world's most iconic wineries.
Complex and beautifully layered, the wine opens with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, grapefruit, and acacia flower, complemented by notes of Mediterranean herbs, flint, and subtle oak. The palate is rich yet remarkably precise, combining vibrant acidity with a silky texture and extraordinary depth. Mineral-driven and refined, it finishes long and persistent with remarkable freshness.
A world-class white wine with exceptional aging potential, perfect alongside lobster, scallops, turbot, rich seafood dishes, truffle risotto, or elegant poultry preparations.
Grape Variety: Primarily Sauvignon Blanc, with small percentages of complementary Bordeaux white varieties depending on the vintage. The result is a wine that combines the aromatic intensity of Sauvignon Blanc with the texture, complexity, and longevity of the world's finest white wines.
