Old Forester Personal Selection 100 Proof is a single barrel straight bourbon selected specifically for its standout profile and bottled at a robust 50% ABV. Crafted at the historic Brown-Forman Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, this expression showcases Old Forester’s signature high-rye mashbill and oak-forward character. Each individual barrel release delivers a rich balance of rich oak, dark fruits, toasted caramel, and bold baking spices.
Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with smoked beef brisket, glazed pork chops, dark chocolate, pecan pie, or aged sharp cheddar cheese.
Tasting Notes: A bold, full-bodied Kentucky straight bourbon featuring rich caramel, toasted oak, dark orchard fruit, and warming baking spices.
Nose: Toasted oak, sweet vanilla, dark cherry, brown sugar, and a kick of cinnamon spice.
Palate: Full and rich with layers of chewy caramel, charred oak, ripe plums, baking spices, and subtle dark chocolate.
Finish: Long, warm, and lingering with notes of dry oak, rye spice, toasted vanilla, and leather.
Serve: Enjoy neat, on a large ice cube, or in a classic Old Fashioned.
