Introduction
Ol' Beautiful Hard Iced Tea is a refreshing departure from traditional malt-based beverages, crafted by Calgary’s Ol' Beautiful Brewing Co. Unlike many mass-produced hard teas that rely on syrupy concentrates, this version is brewed to perfection using authentic tea blends. It reflects the brewery's flair for the beautiful in imperfection, offering a sophisticated, gently sparkling alternative that feels more like a craft cocktail than a standard cooler.
Description
This hard iced tea is light and effervescent with a clear, golden-amber clarity and a fine, sparkling carbonation.
Aroma: It features a highly aromatic nose with deep herbal notes from African Honeybush tea, complemented by a soft, natural honey-like sweetness and a crisp, clean finish.
Palate: On the tongue, it is light-bodied and refreshingly dry. It offers a subtle, earthy tea flavor with a touch of natural floral sweetness that is never cloying, finishing with a brisk and revitalizing snap.
Technical Notes: Brewed using a custom blend of African Honeybush tea (a caffeine-free relative of Rooibos), which provides its signature aroma and inherent sweetness without the need for heavy additives.
