Tequila Ocho's Huichol Art Blanco unites the purest expression of single-estate agave with the sacred artistry of Mexico's indigenous Wixárika (Huichol) people. Each bottle is a functional work of art, adorned with handcrafted beadwork and yarn in vibrant colors—each pattern imbued with deep spiritual meaning, representing prayers, visions, and connections to nature, the sun, and ancient traditions. This limited-edition blanco celebrates the convergence of tequila excellence and cultural heritage, honoring the living legacy of Mexican indigenous craftsmanship. Like all Ocho expressions, it begins as a Single Estate Tequila distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested from a specific field in Jalisco's Los Altos highlands, bottled unaged and without additives—just pure agave, water, and natural yeast.
The nose opens with a sweetly floral bouquet accented by extra-ripe agave and candied fruit, while the palate delivers bright citrus, warm cinnamon, dried fruit, and almond notes with a lingering hint of spearmint on the finish. This is an agave-forward blanco of remarkable intensity and concentration—bursting with sweet and smoky natural agave flavor, delivering cooked agave character that educates the palate with every sip. The terroir-driven approach showcases the unique microclimate influence on each vintage harvest, with concentrated complexity that remains balanced and exceptionally easy to drink.
As a true single-estate, vintage-dated expression, each Huichol Art Blanco represents a rare and unrepeatable harvest—once that field is harvested, Ocho does not return to it for ten years, making every bottle an instant limited edition. Perfect served neat in a traditional tequila glass or over a large ice cube to appreciate its bright agave character and subtle botanicals, or as the foundation for elevated margaritas and palomas that celebrate its pure agave essence. This is tequila as both spirit and sacred art—proof that the finest expressions honor both the earth and the culture from which they emerge.
