Nc'Nean Cask Strength Organic Single Malt is a bold, unpeated Highland Scotch whisky crafted from 100% organic Scottish malted barley and bottled at cask strength. Matured in a combination of specially treated red wine, ex-American whiskey and Oloroso Sherry casks, it delivers a vibrant profile of juicy peaches, bright citrus and warming spice. Notes of lemon peel, apricot jam, honey and freshly baked sourdough create a rich, full-bodied character with a long, refreshing finish. Naturally coloured and non-chill filtered, it showcases Nc'Nean's signature fruity style at greater intensity.
Food Pairing: Roasted chicken, aged Gouda, toasted almonds, peach tart, lemon cheesecake, apricot pastries or buttery shortbread.
Tasting Notes: Bold and fruit-forward, with juicy peaches, tangy lemon, apricot jam, honey and warming baking spices.
Nose: Fresh and aromatic, with lemon peel, honey, ripe pear and gentle baking spices.
Palate: Rich and layered, with lemon peel, apricot jam, freshly cut grass and sourdough bread.
Finish: Long and vibrant, with lingering citrus, gentle spice and a rich, oily texture.
Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn glass, adding a few drops of water to soften its cask strength intensity and reveal additional fruit and spice.
