Launched in 1935 by the H. Upmann factory as a tribute to the Count of Monte Cristo - the cigar smoking hero of Alexandre Dumas novel. Montecristo's balanced blend and distinguished aroma appeal to all levels of smokers, making it one of the world's most popular brand.
Montecristo is the flagship brand of Habanos, one of the most renowned and historically significant names in the world of cigars.
The Petit Edmundo, one of its most famous and beloved vitolas, is among the most widely smoked cigars worldwide. The cigar has a silky wrapper to touch, and it is very firm. The coloring is that of slightly lightened coffee sprinkled with cinnamon on top.
In fact, it's difficult to imagine a Cuban cigar with so much taste in such a small package.
