Custom Blend Mocha Java Dark Roast Coffee Beans
The Mocha Java coffee beans from GROSCHE are a custom blend coffee created with bold and earthy Java beans and lighter, fruitier Arabica coffee beans. Mocha Java has a very versatile flavour profile that coffee lovers will enjoy.
Whole Bean Mocha Coffee
We offer different grind size options for GROSCHE coffee beans, but we recommend shipping our coffee as whole bean coffees. This allows you to custom grind your beans for your preferred brewing method. It also means, that you get the freshest, full body and most aromatic tasting coffee every time. Use a coarse to medium grind for French press and pour over coffee makers and a fine grind for stovetop espresso makers.
What is the Difference Between Dark & Light Roast Coffees?
Our Mocha Java is dark roast custom blend coffee. This means that in the coffee production process the beans stay on the machine longer or at a higher temperature compared to light roast coffee beans. When this happens the coffee beans will lose more moisture and become less dense and gain more in flavour.
How to Store your Coffee
We do not recommend to put your coffee into the freezer. Freezing your coffee puts it in contact with moisture which ends up draining it of its flavor. The best place to store your Mocha Java coffee is within an airtight container, somewhere cool, dark and dry. This could be a pantry or a cabinet, just as long as it’s somewhere away from heat and light. If you really want to store your coffee on your counter, keep the coffee in a canister that is opaque, airtight, and away from direct sunlight. Use it up within 1-2 weeks of opening to enjoy a coffee with the freshest, fullest aroma.
GROSCHE Safe Water Project
The GROSCHE Safe Water Project provides 50+ days of safe drinking water to people in need for every pound of coffee sold. GROSCHE is a Social Enterprise and a certified B Corp on a mission to be the change in the world.
