MilkBoy Swiss Chocolates Hot Chocolate Mix is a dairy-free, Swiss-style cocoa powder in a 12 oz can that makes rich, velvety hot chocolate with milk or plant-based alternatives.
Made from premium cocoa and natural ingredients, this dairy-free hot chocolate mix captures classic Swiss chocolate flavor without dairy or gluten. The 12-ounce canister holds about 12 servings and is formulated to dissolve smoothly in hot or cold milk substitutes, letting you create a comforting, café-quality chocolate drink at home. It’s crafted by MilkBoy, a brand rooted in Swiss chocolate-making tradition, designed for people who want an indulgent, vegan-friendly hot cocoa experience.
How does this mix deliver a creamy taste without dairy?
The recipe balances high-quality cocoa with finely milled powders that mimic the mouthfeel of traditional hot chocolate. When combined with hot or heated milk alternatives, the mix blends into a rich, velvety beverage rather than a thin, watery drink. It relies on texture-enhancing ingredients and careful cocoa processing to recreate the luxurious body associated with Swiss chocolate.
- Premium cocoa selection for deep chocolate notes
- Fineness of powder promotes smooth dissolution
- Formulated to thicken naturally when mixed with liquids
- Works with almond, oat, soy, coconut, or dairy milks
What’s the easiest way to prepare a single serving?
Preparation is quick: scoop, stir, and enjoy. Use one to two heaping tablespoons per 8–12 ounces of hot or cold milk or alternative, adjust to taste, then whisk or stir until smooth. For richer results, gently heat the milk before adding the powder and whisk vigorously to create a glossy finish.
- 1–2 heaping tablespoons per 8–12 oz liquid
- Heat milk for a creamier texture, or use cold milk for iced cacao
- Whisk or froth for a smoother, barista-style cup
- Top with marshmallows, shavings, or whipped cream if desired
Can I customize this mix for desserts and drinks?
Yes—this powdered mix is versatile for beverages and recipes. Beyond classic hot chocolate, you can use it to flavor lattes, milkshakes, baked goods, or dessert sauces. The neutral, authentic Swiss chocolate profile takes well to mix-ins and toppings so you can tailor sweetness and complexity.
- Stir into smoothies or iced drinks for chocolate flavor
- Incorporate into cake batters, brownies, or frostings
- Create hot chocolate cocktails or mocktails by adding spices or liqueurs
- Garnish with caramel, peppermint, or shaved chocolate
