Imagine sipping sunshine and blossom in tandem. The Macallan Harmony Collection “Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea” captures the spirit of a rare oolong tea from Phoenix Mountain, Guangdong, inspired by JING’s “Phoenix Honey Orchid.” Predominantly matured in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, with supporting notes from sherry European oak and a delicate whisper of ex-bourbon casks, this Scotch weaves fruity and floral elegance with roasted richness and soft sweetness. The warm honey hue invites glances. Aromas of peach and apricot dance with orchid and honey, layered over rich dried fruit and dessert-wine notes. On the palate, expect tropical fruits, creamy toffee, gentle oak spice, and subtle citrus tropical warmth. The finish lingers with honeyed floral echoes, soft oak, and a dry tea-leaf undertone that lingers like a remembered sunset.
