Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Filler: Dominican
Profile: Medium
Solis is La Flor Dominicana’s newest release and marks the first commercially released blend by Litto Gomez Jr., showcasing a fresh perspective within the brand’s legacy. After sampling the full range of tobaccos available to the company, Litto Jr. crafted Solis as a deliberate contrast to his brother’s bold La Nox, using the sun and moon as inspiration to reflect their different personalities.
Built to offer balance and refinement, Solis delivers a smooth medium bodied profile layered with notes of cedar, warm spice, and natural sweetness, supported by a clean and elegant finish. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Sumatra binder work in harmony with Dominican fillers to create a cigar that is approachable yet complex.
Following the success of La Nox and La Volcada, Solis earns its place among La Flor Dominicana’s standout releases, offering a nuanced and polished smoking experience.
Awarded a 90 point rating from Cigar Aficionado, Solis is a refined addition to the portfolio that highlights the next generation of LFD craftsmanship.
