With 38 total awards, La Douleur Exquise continues to roll out winning wines. Our Pinot Noir from France’s Pays d’Oc presents an alluring array of bright red fruit flavors complemented by savory notes. In a country with some of the wine world’s strictest regulations, the Pays d’Oc in southern France offers winemakers the opportunity to test their skills, experimenting with different grape varieties and wine styles that challenge tradition. Like this highly awarded brand, many ambitious winemakers find fortune in the region’s temperate Mediterranean climate. Long summers drench vineyards in sunlight with cooling northern winds that prevent overripening, while clay and limestone soils maintain moisture throughout the dry growing season, providing the nutrients necessary to produce plump, ripe berries. Our Pinot Noir is fresh and fruit forward. Take this bottle along to your next game night as a sure bet your friends are guaranteed to love.
