Discover the bold spirit of South Africa with Bira Rum, a premium release distilled in 2017 and matured in ex-bourbon casks to perfection. This 750mL expression offers a rich and layered profile, where the warmth of sun-soaked sugarcane meets the deep, mellow notes of American oak barrels. Expect a vibrant nose of caramelized bananas, toasted coconut, and a hint of vanilla, followed by a smooth palate of spiced toffee, dried fruits, and gentle smokiness. The finish is long, balanced, and satisfyingly complex. Perfect for sipping neat or savoring in a crafted cocktail, Bira’s 2017 vintage is a true testament to South African rum-making craftsmanship.
