Our Kuier Pinotage celebrates a South African classic with dark berry fruit notes and toasty oak-influence. Pinotage is a terrific option for red wine lovers seeking to broaden their horizons beyond the usual varietals. A crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, this grape was born in South African soils in the 1920s and remains a local favorite to this day. In Swartland, it enjoys long summers and cool coastal breezes that help it ripen to perfection. In this case, prevalent oak characteristics balance the fruit, making this wine both approachable and complex. This unique South African treasure is meant to be shared among friends and family, inspiring moments of connection over home-cooked meals.
