Ketel One is a name closely tied to the spirit we know as vodka. The brand has its roots in Schiedam, Holland. There, the Nolet family has run its distillery since 1691. Ketel One is distilled from wheat in copper pot stills. That classic method sits alongside modern know-how. The Botanical range builds on that base. For Peach & Orange Blossom, real botanicals go into the still. Natural flavors are then added.
On the nose, ripe white peach comes first. It smells fresh and juicy, not candied or jammy. Fragrant orange blossom follows and lifts the aroma. The palate is light and crisp. The spirit lets the peach and blossom shine. There's no added sugar, so it tastes fresh rather than syrupy. The finish is clean and floral. At 30% ABV, it's lighter than standard vodka. Still, it's a distilled spirit, not a liqueur.
It's a nice pick if you want a lighter, natural-tasting flavored spirit. Ketel One suggests mixing it with soda water for an easy spritz. Add a slice of peach or a twist of orange peel to finish.
