This just in! Sir Oscar Darby Sauvignon Blanc–Sémillon takes home "Best of Class," a Double Gold Medal and 96 points at the 2022 Harvest Terroir Challenge!!
Sir Oscar Darby offers a taste of South Australia with our Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon blend. Layers of tropical fruit flavors and complex textures make this a delicious example of a beloved style. Outside of Bordeaux, Australia is the top producer of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon blends and has become famous for its rich, fruit-forward, New World styles. As a geographically and climatically diverse winegrowing region, most white grape plantings in South Australia are found in the cooler parts of the state to capitalize on oceanic influences and higher rainfall. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon ripen to plump perfection in these areas, showcasing their unique varietal characteristics. This bottle offers a great opportunity to experience Australian wine at its most...Australian! Take it along to your next social gathering, where it is destined to be the life of the party.
