This deeply elegant and expressive Tuscan red wine opens with an inviting, traditional bouquet of ripe dark cherries, wild plums, and crushed violets, beautifully underscored by sophisticated notes of sweet dried tobacco leaf, cedar brush spice, eucalyptus, and a hint of white pepper. On the medium- to full-bodied palate, it showcases breathtaking grace and structural precision, seamlessly balancing its succulent core of dark fruit with a vibrant line of traditional acidity and firm, well-knit noble tannins. The finish is remarkably smooth, dry, and elegantly persistent.
Food Pairing: A masterclass companion for rich tomato-based pastas, roasted Italian winter vegetables, slow-cooked beef stews, grilled rosemary lamb chops, and mature cheeses like aged Pecorino Toscano.
