Privada Storytelling
HVC Hot Chocolate Cake is dessert in cigar form, a blend that was born from Privada’s love of rich, decadent flavors and aged to perfection. First released in 2021, this cigar has spent over four years resting, allowing the San Andrés Maduro wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers to marry into a velvety, indulgent experience reminiscent of a freshly baked chocolate cake topped with warm cream.
This cigar is a moment of pure luxury—imagine the comforting aroma of cocoa, vanilla, and toasted nuts wafting from a kitchen as the first snow of the season falls outside. It’s a winter evening in a cigar, designed to satisfy those who crave both complexity and sweetness.
Flavor Journey
The first third opens with hot cocoa, molasses, and a hint of espresso bitterness balanced by vanilla cream. The second third evolves into roasted almond, dark cherry, and charred oak with subtle baking spice. The final third brings a warm crescendo of chocolate fudge, earth, and lingering sweetness that coats the palate.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada’s mission is to uncover cigars that feel like experiences, not just smokes. HVC Hot Chocolate Cake embodies this mission perfectly, offering a dessert-like profile crafted with patience and intention. Aged over four years, this cigar represents Privada’s dedication to curating rare blends that develop into something extraordinary over time.
