Introduction
This spirit originates from Canada. It is crafted in Quebec by entrepreneurs Patrick Cool and Valerian Roy, who founded HP Juniper to offer locally produced, authentic alternatives to traditional spirits. The beverage is distilled at Brasserie and Distillerie Champ Libre in Mercier and bottled in Cowansville, maintaining a commitment to regional production and craft quality.
Spirit Description
The spirit presents a rich amber appearance with dark, golden tones. The nose is highly aromatic, featuring prominent notes of vanilla, caramelized sugar, and warm spices such as cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. On the palate, it offers a full bodied and smooth profile with flavors of molasses, brown sugar, and toffee sweetness. The finish is long and warming, providing a spicy complexity that includes a gentle 'burn' reminiscent of traditional rum. It is characterized by its assertive and bold style, designed to hold its own in mixed serves. The alcohol by volume is less than 0.5%.
