Privada Storytelling
Cubanesque Mood in a Nicaraguan Signature
Herrera Estelí Habano is Willy Herrera’s first signature blend for Drew Estate. Crafted to capture Cuban-style balance and smoothness within Nicaraguan terroir, it blends Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Honduran binder and robust Nicaraguan filler. Toro Especial is widely regarded as the flagship format, the balance of length and ring gauge allows flavor evolution and creamy transitions.
This is a cigar built with intuition and structure. Its floral and herbal tea aroma gives way to peppery cedar and toasted almond. Sweet herbal notes emerge mid smoke before cocoa and cocoa dust fade toward the finish. Clean and refined yet expressive.
Flavor Journey
The first third delivers white pepper and cedar over a sweet, nutty undertone. Cocoa and herbal tea notes arrive midway through the second third. The final third reveals roasted earth, light cinnamon and lingering tea sweetness that carries to the nub.
Reflective Words from the Community
One reviewer noted “at first I was underwhelmed, but each subsequent smoke grew on me" revealing how complexity rewards return visits.
Why It Fits in Privada
This cigar is an essential inclusion for Privada—signature blends with Cuban heritage, elegant structure, and a flavor path that rewards attention. Herrera Estelí Habano embodies depth without aggression. Toro Especial remains among the brand’s most balanced and collectible formats.
