The Gurkha Ghost Asura is a mind-blowingly delicious smoke that should be in your humidor! The Asura name harkens back to Hinduism, as the Asura are prominent and often rather nasty deities in Hindu culture and myth. No matter the origins of the name, Gurkha’s Ghost Asura cigars are absolutely divine!
The sumptuous 6” x 54 Asura begins with a meaty core of filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. With the addition of a Criollo 98 binder leaf and an extravagant Arapiraka Maduro wrapper from Brazil, the stick emerges as a thrillingly flavorful and smooth odyssey that lasts well beyond the hour mark.
The Ghost Asura begins with a steady wave of earth and pepper flavors that are sweetened by splashes of cocoa, cinnamon and nougat. The smoke is medium-bodied with a more adventurous spirit on the back end that leads to a truly exquisite finale.
The Gurkha Ghost Asura is a cigar that deserves a spot in your rotation and will satisfy the tastes of almost any connoisseur with its lushly pronounced flavor and silky smooth character. Conveniently boxed with a lucky 21 cigars, the Ghost Asura is ideal for special occasions or for stocking up. Give yourself a bonus and enjoy with the lively Brazilian take on Rum, Cachaca to draw out the supple flavors of this amazing smoke.
