Grizzly Paw Rundlestone Easy IPA is a celebrated core offering from The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in Canmore, Alberta. Named after the iconic local limestone used in the region's historic buildings, this beer is designed for those who love the complexity of an IPA but want the drinkability of a lighter session ale. It embodies the adventurous spirit of the mountains, providing a perfect reward after a day on the trails.
Beer Description
This "Easy" IPA (Session IPA) pours a clear, bright golden-amber with a light, frothy white head and consistent carbonation.
Aroma: The nose is vibrant and hop-forward, featuring a blend of citrus zest, juicy grapefruit, and subtle tropical notes, with a background of clean, crackery malt.
Palate: It offers a light-bodied and crisp mouthfeel. The flavor is dominated by zesty orange and piney hop notes, balanced by a gentle, bready malt sweetness. It finishes dry and clean with a refreshing, controlled bitterness.
Profile: It has an ABV of 4.5% and a moderate bitterness of 35 IBU, making it flavorful and aromatic while remaining light enough for multiple pints.
Technical Notes: Brewed using a blend of classic Pacific Northwest hops to achieve its citrus and pine character. The lower alcohol content is achieved through a precise malt bill that maintains a satisfying body despite the lower gravity.
