Green River Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey is a modern revival of a historical brand, distilled at the Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky. The distillery has a rich history and was recently acquired by Bardstown Bourbon Company. This whiskey represents a significant part of Kentucky's bourbon heritage, having been first created in 1885 by J.W. McCulloch.
Overall, Green River Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey is an easy-sipping bourbon that offers a pleasant but not particularly memorable drinking experience. Its reasonable pricing and approachable profile make it a good entry point for those new to wheated bourbons or looking for a gentler bourbon experience.
