AJ Fernandez is currently the go-to source for those in search of cigars that offer big taste and character, while maintaining a smooth, immensely satisfying character. And there is simply no better example of AJ’s deftness at creating exactly what aficionados desire than the stunning Enclave Toro. A project AJ developed along with his legendary father Ismael, the Enclave series is a fantastical journey into the world of the Fernandez’ 90+ rated smokes.
The Enclave Toro is a 6” x 52 stick drenched in a gorgeous Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper leaf that hides a Cameroon binder which contains AJ’s proprietary AJF Piloto Cubano and AJF Select filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. Combined these tobaccos make for a thrillingly complex hour or so journey.
Once the medium-to-full bodied Enclave Toro experience is underway, voluptuous spice, pepper, cedar and cinnamon flavors ooze onto the palate with hints of cream flowing ever so lightly underneath. The savory smoke maintains an impressively smooth structure throughout, finishing up with a rousing encore of deliciousness.
The Enclave Toro by AJ Fernandez is absolutely one of the best of any of AJ Fernandez’ releases and should be a solid choice to lead your starting rotation. The Enclave Toro is a cigar that simply belongs in your humidor, so grab your box of 20 today!
