Introduction
This sparkling rosé originates from Italy, specifically from the lush vineyards of the Veneto region. Produced by the Genuine Classics Wine Company under the Gigglewater label, the brand is inspired by the 1920s American slang term for a spirited alcoholic beverage. The winery's philosophy focuses on creating fun yet elegant sparkling wines that offer effortless enjoyment and a festive flair for modern gatherings.
Wine Description
Gigglewater Prosecco Rosé displays a delicate pink hue with a vibrant and eye catching appearance. The nose is fragrant and playful, offering a bouquet that bursts with ripe strawberry, juicy peach, and delicate rose petals, accented by hints of citrus zest. On the palate, the wine is bright and refreshing, featuring a medley of red berries and stone fruit balanced by a creamy, almond like finish and fine, lively bubbles. It is characterized by its medium sweet style and crisp acidity. This sparkling wine is crafted from a blend of Glera and Pinot Noir grapes, which undergoes a cool secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, fruity character. The ABV is typically 11%. While the brand emphasizes a light and modern style, this specific bottling is not certified organic, though it is noted as being both vegan and gluten free. The optimal drinking window is generally from release through two to three years to preserve its youthful effervescence.
