The story of this wine begins in the 20th century, in the mythical Fontfroide region. Located in the heart of the Corbières appellation, Cuvée 100 is a sublime example of Carignan, the region's emblematic grape variety. Stemming from a hundred-year-old plot first cultivated in 1920 by Paule Bertrand, Cuvée 100 reveals the full potential of its terroir and the unique know-how of the Bertrand family.
Winemakers Notes: Deep purple color. The nose has aromatic complexity, blending dried flowers and spicy notes. On the palate, aromas of black fruits and spices express our terroir to the full. This wine is full-bodied, rich and dense but with infinite softness. Barrel aging for 18 months accompanies the wine, bringing complexity and length. A wine for connoisseurs and lovers of the finest Languedoc terroirs.
